This Content Pane describes elements within a UML
model. A window in the Content Pane might display a diagram;
but other windows in the Content Pane will be Detail Pages that provide
non-graphical details on some element of the model. Here's a sample Detail
Page:
Usually, a Detail Page contains the following controls.
Name (or Model, Package,
etc.): The name of the element. You can change the name by
typing here.
Stereotype:
The UML stereotype of the element. A stereotype allows you to define your own
"dialect" of UML, using existing UML modeling concepts to model new concepts
not covered by the UML.
Update:
Click this button to apply changes in the name or stereotype.
Ink Tab: This tab allows you to write or sketch notes about
the active element.
Pen Options Button : This
button will display the Pen Options Dialog
to control the pen and ink used in the Sketch Pad.
To Text Button:
Select ink within the Sketch Pad, and then click this button to convert that
ink to text within the Text Tab.
Sketch Pad: This field will let you write notes, draw
sketches, and otherwise describe the current node in more detail. You can also
select ink and convert it to text.
Text Tab:
This tab allows you to write or type notes about the active element.
Hyperlinks Tab: This tab allows you to define hyperlinks for
files or URLs that relate to the active element.
Link Input Field:
Lets you type or write a hyperlink.
Browse Hyperlink Button :
This button opens a form to let you navigate to a file or URL.
Hyperlink List:
Lists the hytperlinks for the active element. You can double-click any
hyperlink to open the file or URL.
Hyperlink Detail Button :
This button opens a form to let you edit the selected hyperlink.
Up Button :
Click this button to move the selected hyperlink up within the hyperlink list.
Down Button :
Click this button to move the selected hyperlink down within the hyperlink
list.
Delete Button : Click
this button to delete the selected hyperlink from the hyperlink list.
