The Tablet UML Company, maker of
Tablet UML , offers to you this free speech-recognition
application:
-
Take a Memo: Lets you dictate,
store, retrieve, and review memos on topics you define -- all without touching
the keyboard!
So why is The Tablet UML Company offering
you this tool absolutely free? Are we going to collect your email address and
inundate you with spam? Nope! The Tablet UML Company
would never do that. Are we going to secretly track your Web surfing habits?
Nope! The Tablet UML Company would never do that,
either. Are we going to dump ads on your system? Nope! The
Tablet UML Company hates clutter as much as you do. Are we
going to install some adware or spyware and generate revenue by forcing you to
see ads? Nope! The Tablet UML Company hates
adware, after a particularly nasty infection we had. Is this a "demo"
or "trial" version, and we're going to charge you for it later? Nope!
When The Tablet UML Company says free,
we mean free.
So why free stuff from The Tablet UML Company?
Simple: we're trying to sell our new UML tool for the Tablet PC,
Tablet UML. And to do that, we need visibility. That means we need
traffic to the Tablet UML site. And one way to
generate traffic is to give stuff away for free. If a lot of people come and
download this tool, at least some of them will be software developers and
analysts; and they may be interested in Tablet UML.
So we hope they'll browse the rest of the site after
downloading the free tool.
But that does mean one important thing: this tool is provided by The
Tablet UML Company as is . We're not making any money
off it (that's what Tablet UML is for), so we
can't afford to answer questions about it. We've made a good faith effort to
make it install and run properly. And we'll upload fixes when we get a
chance, so you can always download the latest version. But if it doesn't
do the functions that you need, well, we just can't do anything about that.
(Maybe when Tablet UML starts making us lots of
money, we'll be able to afford to support this more fully.)
So we hope you enjoy this tool from The Tablet
UML Company. And if you happen to know any programmers or analysts
who could use a great UML tool for the Tablet PC, could you tell
them about Tablet UML?
And don't forget: there's also a free demo version
of Tablet UML!
